To all our square dance family,

As you may or may not know, caller John Marshall has recently undergone three surgeries for his back. What had seemed like a routine procedure has turned into a nightmare recovery. He ended up with a staph infection and was in terrible pain. He has undergone the other two surgeries to try and remove as much of the infection as possible and to relieve the pain. 
He has lost a significant amount of weight and is very weak. As such, it will be a very long recovery and it will be some time before he is able to return to calling. 

A bank account has been set up in his name so that dancers will be able to make donations to help John financially though this tough time. 

It takes something like this to make us appreciate how fragile life can be and how it can change in a matter of seconds. Let's pull together as a square dance family and help John through this time of recovery.
