I'm forwarding this along as a matter of possible interest.  A-Scott can forward to the Sidewinder's email list if he wishes, and anyone else can forward to their own target activities list.  I'm not placing who the gentleman is right now that sent it, but he appears to be a local chiropractor that is familiar with us. [i.e., I can't vouch for the venue or intent, but what the hey!]

Hi Bill - 
    I’m planning the following event and I was told by some people (Alan, Jeff,& Scott) that are in the Wilde Bunch & go to Sidewinders for 2-step to let you know about it and that you may be able to help spread the word. Let me know if you need more info. I wanted to do this at the ASDC but the quote I received from Linda Tangen made the cost prohibitive for me to sponsor.

Two-Step to a Purpose is committed to offering the GLBT community a friendly, social alternative to the bar and club scene. Country dancing encourages inclusion, and brings down our societal separatism based on sex, age, and race. 

Donations will be accepted at the door ($5 suggested) to benefit rotating LGBT organizations in Albuquerque. We will choose charities/organizations each month that donations will go to as suggested by the attendees. 

Y’all Come and Join us on Friday May 11, 2012 as we begin monthly country western dance nights at: 
CSP Dance Studios 
5505 Osuna Rd, Suite J
Albuquerque, NM 87109 
 
Dancing begins at 8pm until 11pm. This is a non-smoking, non-alcohol event to enable all to attend.  
Bottled water and soda will be available for purchase where all proceeds will be donated as well.
